I'm still alive! Still working on my comic! Obviously I haven't been able to update very frequently but it is still being worked on. There's a lot on my plate right now but I will try and get a full page comic up every two weeks.

Believe it or not, I expected to be working on my comic a lot more while here in Japan. I had heard all sorts of stories about ALTs in the JET program not being used by their schools to teach very often and twiddling their thumbs all day. That was what I signed up for! I wanted to work on this comic during my free time. Unfortunately, I got a host organization that uses their ALTs well and keeps me plenty busy. It's fun work but I actually find myself tired when I get home. That'll teach me to get a job!

This comic was a fun challenge. I got out my posable doll for drawing the dancers. She's a funny thing, very useful and more joints than your average doll, but for some reason her knees have a tendency to fall off. I find it hilarious every time too...

And chapter two is officially started! Even though I tried hard, the last panel doesn't look like much of a crowd. I'll need to get better (and faster!) at those types of scenes.

This is the last short comic I'll be doing for a while. I've got a few more character designs to do and then it's finally time to start chapter two. Look forward to a full size comic sometime next week. ^_^
